A parent’s sorrow

Recently, a father and mother lost their 10 year old son to a horrific accident, that resulted in their son suffocating to death. I do not know what it feels like to lose a child.. I will not even pretend to have a clue. All I know is that it must be the worst feeling ever experienced by mankind.

This is written as an ABC poem.

  • An ABC poem has a series of lines that create a mood, picture, or feeling. Lines are made up of words and phrases. The first word of line 1 begins with an A, the first word of line 2 begins with a B etc.

A parent’s sorrow

Agonized, she did, over her lost boy, 10 only
Bad news came at 5pm, with her husband’s frantic call
Catastrophe rang in her ears as she learned her only son had…
Drowned under a pile of grain
